And we actually got the real Fiesta in the US, then we got the cheaper Festiva, then we got the Aspire, then we got nothing, then we got the Fiesta again.

And along all that you got a weird mazda Escort aswell. Then there was the differences in the Focus lineup after the mk 1 but atleast it’s somewhat unified now.

Buddy of mine has one of these with a turbo’d Mazda BP engine and custom coilover setup. It’s ludicrous fun. He also has an Aspire which he says is the same thing as the Festiva, just uglier and more modern.

I always wanted to do a b6t swap in mine but couldn't find one and then had to get rid of it. Thing was a blast though even with probably around 40 horses left in the stable, the PO put a hurst shifter in it, was badass.
